OCTOBER -  SDV INTERNATIONAL Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Michael Perry, completes the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Veterans Institute for Procurement (VIP) Program. Mr. Perry received recognition from his industry and Government peers, including a personal certificate from Mr. Perry’s Congressional Representative, the Honorable James Moran.

SEPTEMBER -  SDV INTERNATIONAL was awarded the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST). eFAST is a multi-year MOA program offering broad technical scope, many contract and award types, and a wide array of labor categories with fixed ceiling rates. eFAST is the FAA's preferred acquisition vehicle for fulfilling Agency Small Business goals.

The Federal Aviation Administration entered into a Master Ordering Agreement (MOAs) with SDV INTERNATIONAL, to provide comprehensive management, engineering and technical support services.

AUGUST -  SDV INTERNATIONAL team wins the Department of the Air Force (AF) Integrated Personnel and Pay System (IPPS) contract.  The purpose of AFIPPS is to provide the AF with a sustainable, cost-effective, auditable and regulatory compliant method of effectively capturing and maintaining personnel information so that service members are paid accurately and on-time without requiring repetitive action or onerous paperwork, while allowing commanders/managers to easily access pertinent information.  

The goal of AFIPPS is to fully integrate personnel and pay management for the AF''s Total Force (RegAF, ANG, and AFRes). The future state will be characterized by streamlined, Total Force business processes; efficient and accurate management of pay entitlements; auditable financial statements with regard to military pay; improved access to accurate and timely personnel data for authorized users; and a modernized IT systems environment that is cost-effective and can adapt to future needs.

AFIPPS's customers include approximately 507,000 AF Service members across all components (330,000 RegAF, 107,000 ANG, and 70,000 AFRes) as well as thousands of military leaders of different ranks, specialties, and career fields who are responsible for the conduct of AF operations that rely on these services to ensure Service members with the appropriate skill sets are deployed where needed at home and on the battlefield. Congress, the rest of the Department of Defense (DoD), and other federal agencies all rely on accurate AF Human Resources (HR) data to make key decisions that affect how the US military is organized, funded, deployed, and maintained.

JULY - SDV INTERNATIONAL adds seasoned Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President to help lead the firm’s next growth phase.  Bob Martins, CFO, and Doug Sahrbeck, SVP, each bring more than 25 years experience in program management, health care, IT, and financial management to the firm.  Their previous successes in the industry have prepared them well for their roles as we strive to become the go-to provider for SDV INTERNATIONAL’s clients and partners.  

JULY - SDV INTERNATIONAL team wins contract with at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in support of the VetSuccess.gov Program. VetSuccess.gov serves as a virtual transition and employment resource center for Veterans seeking employment and employers who want to hire Veterans.  Over 200,000 Veterans are registered on the site.  SDV INTERNATIONAL’s roles include staffing facilities within 5 miles of 10 VA hospitals with case management professionals who help veterans find employment and educational opportunities based on their personal profiles.

JUNE -  SDV INTERNATIONAL team wins the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract.  The single contract award was based on the HPES Combined Enterprise Services and Transport Services proposal to the Department of the Navy (DON), which operates the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), one of the largest intranets in the world. NMCI currently delivers end-to-end, secure information technology services to more than 400,000 seats and 800,000 users.  This contract includes four one-year options that may bring the cumulative contract value to more than $3.4B.  Work will be performed at nearly 2,500 Navy and Marine Corps locations worldwide, from major bases to single-user sites.

MAY -  SDV INTERNATIONAL participates in the Northern Virginia Community College Health Information Technology event at the college’s Annandale campus. Guests included Virginia Senator Barkley, and many leaders in government, health care, and academia. 

MARCH -  SDV INTERNATIONAL launches new ICD-10 Training platform for remote and onsite client requirements, as part of its expanded health information management training offerings.

FEBRUARY -  SDV INTERNATIONAL adds KnowledgeEdge(R) software to its GSA Schedule 70. This powerful business intelligence software has wide applications, such as clinical applications that can lead to improved health care delivery and administration, as well as cost reductions. The software includes powerful visualization features, and is utilized in government, academic and private network settings.

JANUARY - SDV INTERNATIONAL wins contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide medical claims processing for facilities located across the United States.

JANUARY - SDV INTERNATIONAL wins contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to provide medical record coding support to facilities in Texas. Delivery will include ICD-9 and ICD-10 support.

MARCH - SDV INTERNATIONAL opens booth at the Fort Belvoir Community Center on March 7, 2012 to spend time with customers, employees and job candidates.
