Established in 2008, SDV INTERNATIONAL is a provider of leading-edge enterprise solutions to the public and private sectors. SDV INTERNATIONAL has been serving civilian and military healthcare organizations by providing complementary, often integrated professional solutions for more than a decade.

SDV INTERNATIONAL operates in the confluence of healthcare administration and healthcare innovation.

SDV INTERNATIONAL’s Government Market Advisory practice enables organizations to develop market penetration and expansion strategies within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), the Defense Health Agency (DHA), and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

Snapshot

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is among the largest providers of professional health care in the world and provides care at more than 1,400 sites throughout the country, employs a staff of 255,000, and maintains affiliations with 107 academic health systems. More than 65 percent of all physicians in the U.S. today have trained in VA facilities.

The Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) encompasses more than 400 pages of rules in addition to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).  The FAR is found in Title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations and consists of 37 Chapters. Chapter 1 is some 2,000 pages.   SDV INTERNATIONAL has more than 10 years of history successfully executing projects in U.S. Government healthcare processes, stage gates, deliverables, while always maintaining compliance with government's frequently changing regulations and laws.

As an example of healthcare administration experience at VA, SDV INTERNATIONAL has provided health information management solutions to VA medical centers and clinics for more than a decade.  At VA, SDV INTERNATIONAL contributes to the administration of healthcare and provider engagement in numerous enclaves.

SDV INTERNATIONAL staff supports VA administrators and providers in clinical exercises that run the full gamut of specialties provided at VA medical centers and outpatient clinics.

As an example of healthcare innovation experience at VA, SDV INTERNATIONAL developed and delivered an outreach campaign for the first-ever FDA-cleared prescription digital therapeutic (DPT) to some 65,000 veterans with substance use disorder. The novel DPT, owned by one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device conglomerates, was introduced to multiple Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs) across the U.S. as well as throughout offices at VA headquarters. The outreach campaigns involved extensive collaboration with VA stakeholders across the country to identify prospective VA partners and generate demand. After a successful launch at VA, the client has become a major advocate for SDV INTERNATIONAL’s effective outreach strategies.

SDV INTERNATIONAL experts have extensive direct experience with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, including experience as former senior Government officials, physicians, administrators and technologists. The synergy of our experience enables SDV INTERNATIONAL to solve complex problems in complex environments.

SDV International staff were excellently prepared for their role in supporting the audit engagement. They were experts in their field and enabled the audit team to provide a thorough and effective assessment of the claims that were processed. SDV International contributed to our ability to deliver high quality deliverables to the government with no corrective action throughout the contract period.
